The County Government of West Pokot is set to host the 2025 West Pokot County Agriculture and Trade Fair Show, a vibrant event aimed at fostering innovation, agribusiness, and trade opportunities to drive economic growth and prosperity.

Scheduled for September 25-27, 2025, at Kishaunet Showground, the fair will bring together farmers, traders, and stakeholders under the theme “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.”

Hosted by H.E. Governor Simon Kachapin and supported by Deputy Governor Robert Komolle, the event will showcase advancements in climate-smart agriculture, a critical focus for a region grappling with environmental challenges.

Attendees can expect exhibitions highlighting sustainable farming practices, innovative technologies, and trade opportunities designed to enhance resilience and economic development in West Pokot.

The fair is open to all, with affordable gate charges set at KSh 100 for adults and KSh 50 for children and students.

This accessibility ensures that communities across the county can participate, connect with industry experts, and explore new avenues for growth.

The event will serve as a platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and discovering solutions to boost agricultural productivity while addressing climate change.
