The new initiative, dubbed Catch Them Doing The Right Thing, aims to shine a spotlight on individuals who consistently demonstrate integrity, commitment, and excellence in their workplaces and communities, far away from the glare of the cameras.
According to KSG, the programme seeks to recognise and motivate everyday heroes whose small but impactful deeds contribute to a more ethical, responsible, and compassionate society.
By celebrating these unsung champions, the government hopes to inspire more Kenyans to uphold the values that build trust and strengthen social cohesion.
Officials noted that while acts of wrongdoing often dominate the public conversation, countless citizens quietly do what is right, serving others, adhering to ethical standards, and going beyond the call of duty.
The initiative is designed to bring these positive stories to the forefront and create a culture where commendable behaviour is valued and encouraged.
As part of the campaign, Kenyans are invited to nominate individuals they believe deserve recognition by filling out an online nomination form.
The process is open to people from all sectors: public service, private institutions, community groups, and informal workplaces.
Through this participatory approach, KSG hopes to ensure that recognition comes directly from those who witness these acts of integrity firsthand.
